Alex has been a kind and loving friend to myself and countless other young adults at the Albany Church of Christ. As has already been said, Alex was a true gentleman and a listening ear. I will greatly miss his kind smile and greeting that always met me when I was able to return to Albany. I look forward to meeting with you again one day, in the presence of our Lord. My condolences and Prayers to Raelene in this time.

Dear Raelene It is with great sadness of heart that I write this condolence message to you on the sad parting of your husband and partner in life. Alex was a wonderful vibrant personality from our first encounter at Mac Robertson Miller Aviation Co back in the 50's when we did our aviation apprenticeship together. We share so many exciting & interesting experiences together! We all have such wonderful memories of Jock, as we used to call him, and he will be sadly missed. We know now that he is at peace with God and that is the only comfort that we can dwell on. RIP Alex and comfort to you Raelene

Hi Alex, I am sure that had we not had restriction a grand send off would have been in order. I have had cause to reflect on your wide and varied life experiences and your sense of adventure and 'can do"attitude in the last couple of weeks. Talking to people who knew you as a younger man has brought back many happy memories about Upper Swan and Melros. Riding your bike from Upper Swan to MMA and your various cars that you felt compelled to take t bits each weekend and put back together again with the odd part missing. Thank you for those great childhood memories and for your later life with your beloved Raelene. We will ensure Raelene remains close to our hearts. Bye brother Love Lynne, Stuart, Erin ,Scott, Jacob and Joshua and Rhys and Andy.
