Laurie was a wonderful first cousin always putting others before herself. She was a loved and lovable Christian showing kindness and compassion to everyone she came in contact with. We will miss you Laurie but look forward to the great Resurrection Day when the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Such a caring and thoughtful Aunty. She showed great concern for my mother, Ruth(sister), as her health declined and she has taken a great interest in my life and in my family. Since my mother's passing she has given me the love and care of a mother. I will miss her thoughtful phone calls and the chance to draw on her knowledge of family history. I will miss discussing the joys of the gospel with her for she was a sincere believer. Her legacy of faith, kindness and loyalty will shine on. Our family has been richly blessed by this wonderful lady. The power of human words fails to adequately express my admiration and love for her.
