Our deepest condolences go to Deanna and the rest of the family. Living in Spain, We were so unfortunate in not having been able to meet Chris. But we have learned so much of his life from Steve and our daughter Sacha. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Rest In Peace Chris.

My father in law for 27 years how proud you were of your 6 boys and our families and knowing you left behind a solid legacy. In our final conversation I asked if there was anything you needed and you said how wonderful the staff were at Denmark Hospital and you couldn't be anywhere better. Safe journey in Gods hands. Chris, Anne-Maria and Mackenzie-Anne.

My sympathy to Deanna and the family. A great loss to everyone... will miss our chats , looking around his beautiful garden, sharing a joke or having conversations from the window next door. I know from our conversations that he adored Deanna and his family. A true gentleman with a massive personality. Thinking of you Deanna, always here for you lovely lady. Lena Ericson

We, the Colmans in Warwick, NY, Terry and Liz and Paddy and Anita, and Ann in NJ, have such a great memory of when Chris and Deanna visited, years ago...(the '80's?). We still have the photographs. It was so wonderful, and so much fun, to be together. Our deepest condolences to Deanna and all the family, and the extended family in Australia.

We did some great bike rides from Pemberton to Denmark many years ago. These trips inspired Chris and Deanne to move permanently to Denmark. A man of great faith who walked the talk. Chris loved to chat and we loved to listen to his stories. Will be greatly missed.

Worked and went to University with Chris, we laughed all the way through it. Many great memories including Chris at work walking past me carrying a large sheet of plywood and when asked what he was doing with it he replied he was attending a Board meeting, I never forgot it. A real gentleman with a glint in his eye, always positive and good for a joke, I’ll miss you Chris.

I am so grateful to have had the chance to reconnect with you and Deanna not long ago during your recent visit to Hobart. While we only had a few hours I'll always remember the happiness that we shared over that pizza and glass of wine, and am so glad to have a recent adulthood memory of you to look back on. Rest in peace knowing you were a service to this world and will be missed by everyone. Your loving grandson, Kobi.
