My favourite uncle, you always knew you were my favourite, I loved going to Merbein to spend time with you and your family picking grapes and leading David astray then you moved over the west I had lost my favourite uncle. I was lucky enough to move to Perth where I once again was able to spend time with my favourite uncle and aunty either in Perth when they visited me or when my family and I were able to get down to the farm. My children loved coming down to the farm spending time with you and Aunty Heather. I know David did not appreciate my visits far too early for him. Life will never be the same you always had a story to tell about where you had been, talking about your lubra's. You were always there to comfort and support me never had a bad word to say and would help me with anything.
