Thank you to everyone who attended today, in person and online, to remember a remarkable, strong, driven, clever, kind, humble, intensely loyal, and quietly loving woman. It was so wonderful to hear your recollections of her life well lived. Aunty Joan's love for her community was evident and we were never in doubt about her view of where paradise on earth exists - her beloved Albany. Thanks to everyone involved especially Jan, as well as Aunty Lynne and Judy, for arranging such a touching and fitting service. We will miss her dearly. With love, and of course hugs xo.

Sad to see the passing of such a wonderful lady who added to the fabric of Albany in many ways. A college, a friend and a top of the pile boss. Many happy years as principal at Mount Barker, loved by all her staff. Albany will miss Joan.

Very fond memories of a lady ahead of her times, who welcomed me into her life and treated me like a son and our daughters like her granddaughters. Loved our chats about cricket and footy and can only imagine what you could have achieved in today's era. You'll be very sadly missed by many Joan

Joan was a life member of Spectrum Theatre Inc, treasurer and strong supporter of the arts sector. Her input for our Front of House volunteers is sadly missed.
