We never would have felt ready to say good-bye to someone as special as Marie. I have the fondest memories and have known your dear mum for the longest time. Marie was always beautiful, fun, kind generous and so welcoming. Wishing your family comfort and strength and keeping you in my warmest thoughts as you all navigate this difficult time. Hope, healing and big hugs to you all.

Sympathy to Marie’s family all. she was so proud of you all. The love she gave and received from you radiates in my memory. Our ‘remember when’ chats about our nursing training days and the Silver Chain times in Katanning always with caring and humour, she would draw a sketch that would be so funny, I will miss. Rest In Peace

To Grandma, I am so so sorry I couldn't be by your side as you left this earth but I know that you had Mum, uncle Daryl and Uncle Warren there with you. You were the most kind, selfless person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have idolised you for as long as I can remember always wanting to learn more about your past, read your stories, help in your veggie patch and eat all of the amazing food you made. I never understood why people say the secret ingredient to a good meal is love but thinking back to all the amazing recipes you shared with your family and friends I understand now. You have raised all of your children to be just as thoughtful and loving as you were and I am so so grateful that one of them is my gorgeous mum. I miss you so much grandma but I know that God has been waiting a long time to welcome you into heaven and I believe you are now at peace resting. I love you so so much and I can't wait to see you again in the future.

To Daryl, Warren and Robyn and the extended families. Our sincere sympathy goes out to you all at this sad time. Marie was a great Christian woman, always giving to her family, Church and the community. And her cooking was "out or this world". Fond memories from Phyllis and Lori Mirco

Hey Marie, you were a woman and a half, and I’ll never forget you. I remember first meeting Bevan, who asked me what I do, I answered I’m a mechanic, Bev promptly replied “my brother is the best mechanic in Albany, and I replied “WAS”. Marie was in the lunch room at Foodbank Albany, and I’m sure gave a little chuckle at my flamboyance. Well after Bev’s too early passing, I ended up by chance meeting Daryl, and with “D” came Marie and Warren. All took me in and I ended up with a surrogate family who cared for me unconditionally. I’m gonna miss you Mamma Marie, but thank you for all the lemon meringue pie’s on my birthday, and the wonderful younger brothers I now have in Daryl in Warren (even though Warren might not yet see it as that) Even my new wife Cheri, has got to meet all of you, and says “I'm so blessed to have family and friends in you guys. Love you all, and looking forward to catching up with the old girl when I get taken home. God Bless
