WILLIAM “BILL” LAURENCE BIRD

to Sharon and Families. May not be able to get to the service but I have fond memories of Bill during my early years at Mount Barker Primary School. He was interested in the school and the progress of his children in the education process. I found he was a friendly man whose compassion was appreciated by all. My heart is sad for you Sharon and family but treasure those many lasting memories of the good times with Bill. Condolences to you all. xx

I will miss all the talks on God and the church that I had with Bill and all the encouraging Bible verses he gave me. He has gone to a better place now in heaven.

Such a kind and gentle man from the few interactions I had with Bill. I'm sure he's left a wonderfull legacy for all his children and grandchildren to follow

May the Lord comfort and help the family as they mourn the loss of Bill. I had many positive interactions with Bill over the years and very glad to welcome Sarah into our extended family. A godly Christian man now with the Lord. Graham Reid

It is with sadness that we learnt of Bill’s passing. The Great Southern Grammar school community extends their deepest sympathy to Sharon and the family. Bill made a significant and meaningful contribution to GSG over many years as a parent, grandparent, inaugural P&F President and Friend of GSG. His presence will be sorely missed.

What a special man Bill was. Kind, compassionate, and faithful. Faithful to the Lord above and faithful to his family and friends. I will miss his warmth and genuine interest in people. Deepest condolences to all his wonderful family.
