Gary, it breaks my heart that you have left us. You didn’t deserve to die so young. Life kicked you in the guts many times, but your inner strength, perseverance and resilience kept you focused on the future and moving in the right direction. You had a big heart and loved your family, your friends and your surfing.... and in my eyes, you were a winner. You are my hero and I’ll miss you. Rest in Peace Bro... Love always, Judy.

We will all miss you at our early morning swims at ALAC Gary, you had a fine swimming style and always willing to share your knowledge and have a chat in the spa. You fought your fight until your body couldn't take any more. Good mate of Ivan, David, & all that swim or walk in the leisure pool. RIP Gary. David & Delys Parnell
