He was from the old school. I remember Dennis from when I was a kid. Always happy, huge heart, do anything for anyone. Did camping and hunting with him in the late 1980s. Last time I saw him was at my Dads funeral in August 2012. He came straight up and shook hands and we chatted like we had seen each other yesterday.
He is a legend around the Dale, and Brookton. Dennis you take your place amongst the group that will be talked about for generations.
To Tanya, Sue and all the family please accept my sincere whole hearted condolences.

Uncle Dennis was a true Gentleman and was loved by many and will be sadly missed by many. I have many fond childhood memories of times spent with Uncle Dennis he always knew how to throw an awesome Shed Party. He loved Slim Dusty and everytime I hear Slim my thoughts are always of Uncle Den, you fought to the very last minute but you just wanted to be with Todd. I hope you two are behaving up there, Heaven is very lucky to have you xxx My thoughts are with Tanya,Geoff,Jarrod,Danielle, Sue & extended family, treasure the beautiful memories you have. Uncle Den will always be watching over you all xxx

Our Uncle Dennis was easy to talk to kinda man. No fuss, no problem, have a beer, have a port and put another log on the fire and get that kangaroo stew cooking. He will be missed by everyone. Thanks to Sue and Tanya for looking after him in his last days. You both were amazing.
