Olive and I will miss our times with Bill and Elizabeth. Especially our times on outings with the church bus over a number of years. He was a good friend.

I met Bill and Elizabeth in 1966. Bill was a quiet man with a sense of humour and a ready smile. We saw him a few months ago and even though not well still had a smile and made us welcome. He is at peace now and will be greatly missed by Elizabeth and all the family. Our love goes out to them in this sad time. Our love Elaine and David.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Bill. He always greeted people with a cheery smile and always had time for an illustrative chat. We had a mutual connection - his son-in-law (a past work colleague of mine). PK would often come up in his conversations and it was clear how proud he was of his son-in-law's endeavors and travels. My wife (Pat) and I extend our sincere condolences to the Maxwell family.
