The staff and students of the Kendenup Primary School would like to pay their respects to the family of Maurie Draper. Maurie or Mr Draper to our students was a great contributor to our school by helping us to commemorate Anzac Day each year. His enthusiasm and ability to communicate with both staff and students were greatly appreciated. We will miss him. Our condolences to all of his family. Heather Fergie. Bev and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers at this tough time. I am proud to have known Mauri and worked with him on some projects in Kendenup. He was a passionate committed community member with an infectious positive attitude. His love for our town was demonstrated by his actions in the way he was always ready to volunteer, with great ideas and practical support. In the short time living here he has left a memorable legacy which will stay with us all. RIP

Condolences to Bev and family at this sad time. You are in our thoughts as you face the future. We feel we are richer for having known this great, friendly and jovial man. Mauri was a real positive influence on us all here in Kendenup. His commitment to the upgrade of our town, his enthusiasm to be involved on our committee and his willingness to go the extra mile in helping out where needed was very appreciated and really a great encouragement to us all. He is sadly missed but will not be forgotten by us. RIP Mauri.
