Dear Kim and Nick, I am so sorry for your loss! I remember the wrench when we lost our second parent. Anita said ;’we’re orphans now!’ Even after all these years there are times when I want to reach out to share with Mum or Dad. You were so blessed to have Merle for so many years. You will miss her but she will remain part of your psyche! I really am not sure what Merle believed re God, eternity, Jesus but I hope you are able to find encouragement and peace on your journey of loss and grief. I am glad Mike, Pam and now Justin were able to visit recently. I know Lilian and Greg also were able to visit a few years ago. Loss may be part of loving someone but sure doesn’t make it any easier!
