My heart sank on hearing of Murray's passing so soon after Ken. Wonderful memories of growing in Watheroo with Murray especially playing football. He was so much better than me at footy, we both played on a wing and I always made sure he was on the better player from the other team. Condolences to all his family.

Sending so much love to all of Murray's family at this terribly sad time. I will always remember the fun chats we had watching many hours of Dana & Rebecca's hockey. He was so proud when showing me his latest photos of his family and giving me updates on your lives. What a proud Dad he was. xx

To Murray's families & friends, our thoughts and heart felt sympathy to you all. It was a massive shock to hear of Murray sudden passing. Murray will be missed greatly, treasure your fond memories think of him often and make sure you always have a laugh. Enjoy life as we know it, as it just to short as most of us, know all to well. First met Murray during ship loading down the wharf around 2008 Since then I've classed him as one of my close friends. We talk about prospecting, trucks and cars. Absolutely shattered that your gone and I will miss you deeply <3

I’m not even sure where to begin because I keep expecting a text telling me what bets you’ve put on or what shenanigans you’ve been upto with kimbo or the latest dash cam footage of crazy WA drivers. I’ve just put some bets on today for you to mark the day but you are probably shaking you’re head thinking I’ve backed the wrong ones or I should have put on your fave bet of first 4 haha. The only truckie to ever ask for a “warm” flat white, with bright orange reading glasses and a smile from ear to ear. You would always talk about your kids and what they were upto you were such a proud dad and pop. Will miss your humour and chat and toot toot when you drive through koji. You will be missed more than you could ever know, love imogen xxx

I am shocked to hear of Murray’s passing. Although I didn’t know him too well, I was lucky to have him as my chauffeur for my year 12 ball two years ago, I couldn’t have asked for a better car or a better chauffeur for the occasion. My thoughts and sympathies go out to all of his friends and family throughout this sad time…

I still can’t get my head around the fact that he’s gone. He’s the only person I knew that stayed friends with most of his old girlfriends. He was fun, gentle and genuine. We had a blast and I wouldn’t swap it for anything. I’m so sorry I can’t be there to bid him farewell. One of a kind. You should be so proud of him

Coached Muzz at Watheroo when he fist came home from school an excellent footballer and cricketer. He played in the last Watheroo League flag in 1981only a little fella but had no fear. We have remained friends and stayed in contact up until his passing. My heart goes out to all his family. Sorry cannot be there on Saturday but my thoughts will be so long my friend.

Have known murray since he first worked at CBH watheroo in 1979 and 1980. We became friends then and my opinion of murray has never changed. Was a great workmate and has been a great friend. Have many memories of those early days where we would go out shooting in watheroo and would end up at the pub for a beer. That friendship stayed strong over many years. Although we lost contact for a while due to us both becoming married , moving etc and bringing up our families. We then reconnected and it was like old times. I will miss murray, miss our chats and messages about old vintage cars. He was always mr nice guy. RIP my friend, condolences to all, we have lost a legend imo

Such a genuine and loving man, will always appreciate and love how caring you were. Thank you Murray, for everything. I’m so grateful to have known you. Sincere condolences to your beautiful family.
