ROBYN ARNOLD

Oh, what a shock! I was not expecting to find this bit of unwelcome news this morning, which has left me profoundly forlorn. My sincere condolences to Steven and family for their loss. But in reality, she's everybody's loss - including mine. We were at Huntingdale High School together when I first saw Robyn from afar and eventually came to realise how beautiful a person she was; full of life and a ready smile. And let's not forget that gorgeous red hair! Lots of laughs during that time whilst sharing classes. She left her mark on me and others. At the end of school, many people take separate paths and so did we. However, as convoluted as they were, our paths did intersect again one magic night at a school reunion in October 1989. It was one of the most joyous evenings of my life. Unfortunately I had to leave early because my band was playing a gig that night at a nearby hotel, but fortuitously many ex students, including Robyn, came to the gig after the reunion ended and we kicked on to the wee small hours. What a night! Sadly, we never saw each other again, but she was never far from my thoughts for long. Vale unforgettable Robyn...there's a new star in the sky tonight!

To Steve and Judy and family, we are very sorry to hear of the sad passing of dear Robyn. We have lovely memories of her, and she will be sadly missed by us all. You are all in our thoughts. From Glenda, Elaine and family.

Our beautiful Aunty Dragon. You'd have to be a family member to understand the loving intent of this name, given to a woman who cared and loved us with thick flaming red hair, a booming laugh and zest for life. Every time there is a lightening thunderstorm we will think of her, as she loved these. Love you Aunty Dragon, love Karen and Linda.

Robyn, you were so loved by all of us here in Melbourne. I have so many memories of you when I was growing up. I loved your laugh and your sense of humour. Although not blood related, you will always be Aunty Robyn to us (Nathan, spencer and I). Fly high beautiful. I know mum would have greeted you with a big hug and a can of bourbon. Deepest condolences to all of Robyns family Robin was such a great lady who helped me so much with James.We loved having her in our lives and she was like a second mum to James .We called her auntie Robin I left eight years ago to move to Perth and I knew that James had great support network with Robin. I’d like to think that Robyn is having a wonderful afterlife after caring for our special children.
