Dear Caitlin, Ben, Arlo, Henry and all others in your extended family, Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your dearly loved son Joe. We share your loss with great sorrow, and feel your pain intensely. Unfortunately we could not be with you yesterday as you gathered to lay dear Joe to rest - Charlie was travelling back from Papua New Guinea and Barbara was in Perth. However we were with you in spirit - and still are - as you contend with unimaginable grief and relive so many memories of your eldest son. Our prayers are that you may find solace in the understanding that Joe's soul lives on and will always be with you. With our love - Barbara and Charlie

My deepest condolences to Ben, Caitlin, Arlo and Henry. Words are not big enough or strong enough to express what I wish I could say. Ben, I feel privileged and thankful for the small conversations we had about Joe’s music and the pride I heard in your voice as you talked about his song writing. There is no doubt that he was a beautiful boy who was greatly loved and admired by his family. May you all find the comfort you need over this time within your caring communities of friends.

To Ben , Caitlin , Arlo and Henry on behalf of myself , Dianna , Laura and Tom we were and are deeply saddened by the news of Joe's passing and can not imagine what that must feel like for you guys. Joe will always be remembered by us for his ever quwerky way of conducting his time around others , especially during sporting moments when the whole team was involved. He was the ever polite and model sportsman to the rest of team and coach's , whether it be soccer or cricket. Time at L.G.P.S. and ASHS will be a treasured memory for our crew that new Joe and may time and love guide the Goldsmith family to bright days in the future .
