Growing up we didnt see you as much as we would of liked too, but when we did, you always had a huge beautiful smile on your face. The world has lost an amazing uncle and human, RIP and have a nice big scotch with pop. You will always be loved, the Barret pups Gillian, Michelle and Sheila.

Norm, you were the “mainstay” in the “Buzz Club.” When Buzz moved on, it was you, Geoff, Peter and me. Brian and I had the pleasure of yours and Nita’s company over many lunches - so many stories, so much history. Now Geoff will have Brian and me and he will have my cooking instead of Nita’s. I shall do my best! We will miss you Norm. Your loyalty in friendship was outstanding and will never be forgotten. You and Nita have an amazing family of whom you were rightfully proud. You have left your mark on many who respected and loved you; we are among them.

To Norm,
It has been my privilege to have known you and to have had your friendship. Your regular visits were always something to look forward to, and it helped me to cope with my advanced age.
Rest in peace my friend and thank you for The Happy Memories.

If this is the Norm from Onslow in the 60s, then I have memories of a lovely man and good friend.
Condolences to Nita and family.
John Angus, former assistant shire clerk.
