Aunty Hazel touched many of our lives and was someone we all looked up to as younger kids. Not only was she talented on the sports field, she had a brain that matched. Very smart and knowledgeable! Dearest cousins Carlton, Barry and families…… I am so very sorry and deeply saddened for the loss of your beautiful mum, Aunty Hazel. She was not only my my clever, funny, protective and beautiful Aunt but because how close we were in age and her living with us in Wagga she was more like a big sister and best friend. I loved her for her entire life and will continue to love her for the rest of mine. I am sending all my love and strength to you all in this very sad time. To my cousins Carlton & Barry and your families, thinking of you both as you say your final goodbyes to your Mum. I only have the best memories of Aunty Hazel from when I was younger and she lived over in Jerilderie with all of our mob. Watching her play netball for Jerilderie Demons, or sitting and watching how clever she was doing crosswords and quizzes, I had such admiration for her. Take care of each other at this sad time.
