Dear Lorraine, I have only just heard the news, sincere condolences from Barbara and I. Colin will be greatly missed. My connection goes back a long way to when Colin was still farming cattle and was a client of Albany Veterinary Hospital when I was working for Bill Wignall. Subsequently, of course, Colin, with his then partner Richard Smith, purchased the practice. It was good to re-connect when we returned to Albany.

Dear Lorraine & family. It was so moving to watch Colin's service which shared his wonderful life and the legacy he left in his family. Alan has a special bond with his Ag College friends and was moved by the service. We really value the effort you made to visit us in recent years. Love from Colleen & Alan

Dear Lorraine, Andrew, Neri & Becky. I am so sad to be watching this service today. Yes, I know that he is with God & Christian funerals are times of rejoicing as well as sorrow but I do wish he had stayed here with us for longer. He was an amazing, exasperating, generous and unique man who had a special place in my heart. I pray for tears of laughter as well as sorrow for you all. Love Lydia

Colin was a thorough gentleman and a fine Christian friend. We are very sad we cannot be at the funeral of our dear friend today. He has been called home where there is no pain, tears, sadness or longing. Our sincerest condolences are extended to Lorraine and the family.
