Fond memories of working with Christine in the late 70's at Ace Group. I can still see her plodding away on the ledger machine and the stop work at 10.30 with her co-worker Chris Byatt for morning tea. She was a wonderful gentle lady. RIP Chris xx

To all our dear relatives in Australia, we were so sorry to receive your sad news following the passing of Christine. Although we all knew each other from childhood we had only seen Christine once or twice over the years when she came back to Hastings. She always seemed so full of life and full of stories to tell. We will be thinking of you all during your family service. Rest in Peace Christine. XX Diane, Marilyn and families.

Dearest Christine. I am not there but you are here in my heart and always will be. We have been friends since we met in 1966 and have travelled through all life's events - sometimes together sometimes apart. Rest in peace dearest friend. I love you.

I have many fond memories of Christine and her family from my childhood. She was also a long-term and cherished friend to my mum. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to reconnect with Christine more recently and to introduce her to my own family. It was a privilege to share that time with her. While her loss is deeply felt, I take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
