Love and condolences to Steve on the passing of your Dad.
I met Donald a few times and remember him as a lovely gentleman with old fashioned values and a quiet sense of humour.
He may not be with you in person Steve, but in spirit will always be with you in the car on your outings to beautiful spots, coffee and cake.
Our thoughts are with both you and your Mum.
Love always, Tania, Amy and Meg xxx

Uncle Don was a true gentleman through and through, who lived life to the full. I used to love the times we spent with him, Auntie Pauline and Steve. I have particularly fond memories of our holidays in the caravan in the back garden in Wales, scampi and chips in a basket in the pub garden and him pretending to drive really fast down the narrow, windy roads of Wales. I know Uncle Don and Auntie Pauline were some of Mum and Dad's favourite people. Take comfort from the fact they will be waiting to greet him on this next journey. Rest in Peace Uncle Don. Give Mum and Dad a hug from me. Much love to Auntie Pauline and Steve. I wish we could have been there for you.

Wonderful happy memories of our friend Donald, from visiting the family at their pretty little cottage in Ross on Wye, sitting together in the stunning garden on the hillside that Donald and Pauline created that overlooked the Welsh Valleys eating Donald's scones, walking the 3 beautiful spaniels through the Welsh countryside, dinners in the Old Court Hotel down the hill, the delicious carrot soup Donald and Pauline used to make me as I was vegetarian! Wonderful trips to visit you all in Australia, the last with my baby daughter in 1999! Donald and my Dad are looking down at us drinking a beer together as they used to in the 90s. Bear (Steve)you have been my best friend for all my adult life, you have been a fantastic son to Donald and he has been an absolutely brilliant Dad to you. Lucky to know you my bestie xxx Love you all loads.xxx

Our Condolences Steve with the passing of your wonderful father Donald.
We all respected and looked forward to seeing him, and it has been an honour to know and look after him.
His humour, his joy, his incredible stories - the places that he has been have just been incredible - to have lived a life like that is pretty amazing - and he was just a lovely, respectful gentleman.
He will be missed by us all.

Dearest sympathy Steve with the passing of Donald, your Dad.
I treasure the memories of supporting Donald over the last few years.
I loved taking him out shopping and sometimes getting him a Macca's icecream. Donald was also proud of the Date Loaf he often baked, which we had with a cup of tea and a chat. Sometimes we would spend time in the garden.
Donald was a lovely person to be with.
