Ted Hynds was a man whose presence was as warm and resonant as the music he loved to play. Ted had a passion for brass music. He was a proud member of the Silver Band (now the City of Albany Band.) He brought skill, spirit and heart to every performance. His chosen instrument, the Baritone, he played with skill. He understood the joy of making music with others.
