Uncle Ginge truly had the patience of a saint. I’ll always remember him sitting quietly in the car, engine running, waiting for Aunty Kay to finish talking. The engine would go off and on several times before she finally made it to the car, and he would simply wait with that cheeky smile of his. I’ll remember his wonderful laugh, his warmth and, especially, the dancing. I have never been twirled around a dance floor quite the way he used to twirl me. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there today, but I’m watching and thinking of you all. Sending all our love to Simon, Mick and Paul, and to your beautiful families. All our love, Zoe, Lawrie & Bobbi xxx

Such a wonderful gentleman Ginge! I enjoyed your company at line dancing, Albany Country music dances and most of all Rock n Roll. I miss our regular chats with a coffee but I know that you are sleeping peacefully now

A wonderful man who assisted my parents John & Ann Cunningham (both deceased) with their lawns - known as “the lawn mower man”. Also fond memories from the Albany Surf Life Saving Club days. Condolences to Simon, Paul and families.
