Patti and family, I have lost contact with you and found this notice. I have great memories of meeting you Peter and family. Visiting your farm at Bruce Rock. Doug working and having good memories. Our deepest sympathy to Patti and family at the sad loss of a great husband and father. The service was truly moving and it brought back many memories of school holidays spent at "Windyridge" in the 50's. I was there for the installation of a reconditioned engine in the General Stuart Tank and went for a very dusty trial run when the job was complete. Heaven for a 10 year old. I also accompanied Uncle Bill when he drove the truck to Esperance taking some cattle in a borrowed horse float and Ro's "Fancy Work" on the back of the truck. Peter was at Esperance at the time and came back to Bruce Rock when we returned. That was just after I left school. Wonderful memories of Peter and the whole Locke family.

A great person is no more. As a trainee from Denmark I´m very lucky to have met Peter locke, and his family. Still got many memories, though it´s more than 25 years ago, that I spent almost 1 year on your farm at Wogarl Road in Bruce Rock. My sincere condolences to Patti, Kate, Jane and Alexander.

A great man has come to rest in peace. Peter was like an extra father for me and he had always a twinkle in his eyes.
