Well done Michael. Sorry we couldn't make it to Albany today to celebrate Geoff's life with family and friends. We watched it on-line and as usual you did a consummate job and he was given a great farewell. We loved his music. The 1970's were special years for me and my peers. The Dutch had already influenced our lives and when Geoff hit Perth, immediately one knew that this young bloke had something special. Great musicianship, outstanding athleticism and his unbelievable capture of the girls made him a standout. Every hot blooded male in the Riverton Baptist Youth Group would have married Julia, but Geoff beat us all to it. It just goes to show, in the words of Pastor Hans van Asselt, - "If you're not Dutch, you're not much". Love you all, Graham Coulson

What a privilege and honour to witness today online the tributes to Geoff from his family. A life really well lived, enriching many and honouring our Heavenly Father. Many decades have passed since we enjoyed his company in Riverton youth group days. Memories and thoughts for Mike & Kaye, Ross & Marilyn too at this time. Prayers for all the family and friends as you grieve and support each other. Marlyn & Bruce

A man of strength and courage who had a caring heart, making a transformational difference in so many broken, forgotten lives. A follower of Jesus who served Him faithfully whether the road was smooth or rough. Enjoy walking those streets of gold now, Geoff!

A great Uncle and a good man. Taught me so many things about chopping wood, pocket knives, playing music, appreciating a good Western and, most importantly, making puns. He loved his family. He loved God. He will be missed.

20 yrs ago I met Geoff & Annette while playing basketball for Lakeside. Geoff made such a lasting impact on my life and faith walk in the short time I spent time in Perth. I still carry with me the valuable spiritual wisdom he imparted to me. Annette, what a beautiful soul you are—you made Geoff so happy, I remember him calling you ‘Princess Annette’ . My prayers are with you in this time of great loss. He used to joke about how his cat & dog were both Christian lol. Love from Wisconsin

Dearest Annette, you and Geoff stepped in as a mother and father to me in my time of greatest distress and need. The prayer ministry and practical support kept me alive, and sane. The memories of many homeschooling balls and times of Nath and my boys hanging out are etched into my heart. Incredible people, hearts of gold and I grieve with you sister and ache for the loss of Geoff who fondly wanted “ our Han” to be ok after the past few years. It warms my heart to know he cared so deeply for so many. He was so loved. You are so loved and I promise I will do all I can to support you practically the way you guys supported me. Love Hannah, Dylan, Jaxon & Eden
