Cis / Gran had an indomitable spirit which carried her through every chapter of her life. She was never afraid to walk her own path, sometimes in an unconventional way! Everyone has a Cis/ Gran story to tell. She will be long remembered and sadly missed. Our condolences to all the "Gran Clan" and we are sorry not to be there on 8th May to celebrate her long life and her legacy. We will be with you in thought.

To us Graham kids, she was always Gran Sounness - a name we used with love and respect, even though she wasn’t our Gran by blood. Gran to me was well known in the community as a founding family representative, with a constant generous presence. My heart goes out to my dear friend Carolyn, Aunty Pam, Uncle Rob, Greg, Linda and the wider Sounness family. May you find comfort in the deep respect and affection so many hold for her, and in the legacy she leaves behind. Celebrate her life and I’m so sorry we cannot be there in person.

A truly inspirational lady, who shared many wonderful stories with me about her past and her early years regarding golf and the orchards, I will miss our chats.

What an extraordinary woman Cis was , who lived so long and saw so much change evolve around her . I feel honoured to have met Cis and being apart of her golfing family.
