I was in the same year as Jamie at Albany Senior High School. He was such a kind and gentle soul. I learnt more about how kind he was recently, after talking to his good friend Brent Naylor. After a phone call to Brent who was having a hard time, Jamie flew to London to give him a hug and cheer him up. Turned up 48 hours after the phone call. Not many people would do that. He was always helping people. Jamie you were the best type of person and will always be missed by all of us. ❤️

My life is better for knowing you, but sadder now that you are gone Jamie. You were a true gentleman. So kind, caring, thoughtful such a wonderful human being with an amazing smile. I’m sooo sad that you have been taken away from us so soon. Thank you for being you and all your Type 1 knowledge. Rest in peace Jamie xxxx

Although I didn’t see Jamie often in recent years, I have very fond memories of him in his younger years. He always had a friendly and cheeky smile for me, was always ready to help wherever needed and always brought a smile to my face in recent times with his messages.. Jamie you will always be remembered for the wonderful person you were and for the joy you radiated to me and others. Sincere sympathy to your family at this time. Helen Drury

I met Jamie as a fellow type 1 diabetic through the diabetes community. He was so generous with his time and knowledge around all things type 1. The care and support he offered helped to change peoples lives. Thanks for all those chats Jamie ❤️

Jamie has been a part of our Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre community since the beginning. He attended countless events over the years, helped out with fundraising efforts, and was always there to provide support and advice to anyone that asked. He was a standout example of how type 1 diabetes doesn’t mean doing less in life. We’ll miss you, Jamie. Rest in peace. ❤️

I met Jamie in Kununurra and as a well built guy with a chiselled jaw and ocean blue eyes he caught my eye! ... but the cheeky grin matched by equally cheeky humour .... made us share many laughs and he has been a genuine friend, always there for me and so many people, and always checking in which has made his absence such a shocking loss. Sending love to Jamie's Dad, family and all of his many friends, who can be reassured (somewhat) that he and Annie are together again making the most of a heavenly ocean shore.

Today and always you will be remembered as a fun loving soul who embraced life with both arms and never hesitated to give something a go. The beach and ocean was your happy place, reflecting the freedom, energy and joy they brought to you. You cared deeply for family and friends always there to lend a helping hand. Though you are no longer hear Jamie your spirit, kindness and love will live on in the hearts oh those you loved. Rest in peace, and you are sadly missed

Jamie, never thought I would be typing this. Although we never saw each other all of the time I valued the times we did. Either out at Syd's having a shot, helping me shoot weddings in the early days or when you cycled with us a few times. Everything you did was perfect. No details missed. And like Tammy said all those years ago down at Roger and Maries for parties or up at my Mum and Dads. My condolences to Jamies family and friends. Cheers mate.

One of the true gentlemen of this world. Jamie was a selfless, caring friend, who thought about everyone. Not a week went by where we didn’t talk, be it the hard times or the good times, Jamie was there. I’m really going to miss you mate, this world already feels emptier without you.
